The goal
Compound Fitness aims to deliver the most effective fitness program for the individual who’s time is precious and doesn’t want to waste any effort. Everything we do has a purpose, everything we say is backed up. We aim to filter through the noise of the fitness industry and give you the tools that make a difference. You won’t find fad diets or workout routines that don’t deliver improvements in your health and fitness.
The coach
Compound Fitness is a training program designed by myself, Jon Aldridge. I’ve been a personal trainer and fitness coach for 12 years and has delivered over 15,000 personal training and group exercise sessions. I have worked in education, commercial fitness and for the last 6 years has been co-owner of an independent functional fitness gym - Optimal Sports Performance. My training methodology is to the point, no BS. Personally trained to compete in Crossfit and Weightlifting for several years and have since shifted my focus to endurance sports including marathon running and Ironman. Having such a varied understanding of health and fitness has enabled me to design programs to suit anybody, you aren’t just working with a coach from one school of thought. I combine the very best from each discipline to give you the most effective program possible.
The program
At Compound Fitness we use an online coaching app called Truecoach, once you’re set up with us you will receive all your workouts direct to your smartphone. On the app you will have access to hundreds of exercise videos, tips from us and it logs all your activity. So if you forget what weight you lifted last week, no problem, just scroll through your calendar and you'll be able to find out. We can keep in contact effortlessly, track your nutrition and your progress in the gym and it's completely free for you to use.
