I’m Jon Aldridge and this is my new website and blog for all things fitness. Ive been working in the fitness industry for 12 years and have seen a lot of great things and a lot of really bad.The past 6 years i’ve been co-owner and coach at Optimal Sports Performance and thats my home for all things hands on. I believe that more than ever the fitness industry is littered with misleading information and is a minefield for finding out what really works. Understanding how to become fitter, healthier and ultimately happier, shouldn’t be so difficult. The social pressures towards looking good and showing off on instagram are a massive driving force for people turning to fad diets, crazy workout regimes and quite simply things that don’t work. My fitness program is made to totally flip that on its head. I’ll be filtering out all that noise and providing you with the most up to date and relevant information in order to help you reach your goals.

My philosophy towards fitness is very simple, we eat the right things in the correct amounts, we complete hard workout routines that will target every muscle you’ve got and make you sweat from places you didn’t think you had, and do all that with a smile on your face. There aren’t any secrets but there are plenty of myths and at Compound Fitness you’ll only find the truth.

Through my blogs and social media posts I’ll providing knowledge ranging from counting your macros and what all that means to how to prepare for running a marathon and all the bits in-between. I’m providing an online program service for the general population that will reap the best results through my tried and tested methods. There are also personalised plans and personal training packages avaiable.
